Earl Grey Punch

Earl Grey Punch

Whether it’s for Mother’s Day, Easter, or wedding shower, Earl Grey Punch is a lovely sipper! But don’t be fooled by the name, this punch packs a punch with its white rum and apricot brandy. Only slightly subdued by a generous dose of citrus juice from limes, oranges and lemons, it’s not for your grandma’s punch bowl with the glasses hanging off the side. It’s fresh and bright with a small undertone of earthiness from the tea, making it the perfect afternoon cocktail.

Two glasses filled with Earl Grey Punch rest on a white tray draped with a light blue cloth, orange ribbon and fresh mint.

      Holiday Punch

      Holiday Punch

This refreshing all-purpose beverage gets named Holiday Punch for this time of year, but truthfully, it’s wonderful anytime you have a gathering. It takes no time at all to mix together and has a festive flair with the addition of cranberries.

It’s a game changer really! Why? Because it’s also very, very good with vodka or white rum.  So those who want to live it up a little can, while non-drinkers, designated drivers and kids also have something great to drink.

It will allow you to free up some of your valuable time not having to fuss with cocktails and making sure everyone has a drink poured.  I find that if you serve this Holiday Punch and put out bottles of wine, most everyone is happy and can serve themselves. Not to mention it’s rather yummy to sip on with or without alcohol.  Cheers!

          Tequila Pineapple Punch

          Tequila Pineapple Punch

Celebrate Cinco de Mayo with Tequila Pineapple Punch. A fruity drink made from fresh pineapple and spiked with tequila and white wine. Refreshing and fun to drink because of its fruity nature and because it’s made with all fresh fruits, it’s not too sweet. A great party drink for your Cinco de Mayo celebration or back yard BBQ this summer.

While many of us celebrate Cinco de Mayo for Mexican heritage and culture with Mexican themed food, drinks and parties, the people of Mexico celebrate for their victory over the French in 1862. So no matter why or how you celebrate, it’s always fun to celebrate with boozy beverages. Tequila Pineapple Punch is super easy to put together and easier yet to pass the pitcher around. Enjoy!

              Instructions
              1. Cut ends off pinapple and trim off rough outer skin without cutting too far into the flesh. Cut pineapple into quarters horizontally. Lay each quarter flat and trim out the woody core. Chop remaining flesh into large 1" chunks.
              2. Add half the pineapple chunks, ginger and half the orange juice to a blender and puree until smooth. Pour into serving pitcher. Repeat with remaining pineapple and orange juice.
              3. To the pineapple puree stir in tequila, white wine, agave nectar and lime juice. Pour 1 cup punch over ice and top with approximately 1/4 cup of sparkling water.
